What we collect

When you submit our consultation request form, we collect the information you provide: your name, street address, ZIP code, email address, mobile phone number, and your answers about your home and window project (project type, number of windows, home type, and the two visit times you requested). We also record technical details of the submission — the date and time, your IP address, the page you submitted from, and any advertising source information in the page address — so we can prove when and how you asked to be contacted.

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose: arranging your free in-home window consultation. That means contacting you about your request, sending your request to a local window company that can perform the visit, confirming and reminding you about the appointment, and keeping records of the appointment and its outcome.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you check the consent box on our form, we text the mobile number you provided about your appointment request: a confirmation when your request arrives, a confirmation once your appointment is set, reminders before the visit (one the day before and one the morning of the visit), and replies to messages you send us. Your mobile number is used only for appointment communication about your request. We never sell your phone number, and we never share it with third parties for their marketing. The one operational exception is the local window company that accepts your appointment — it receives your request details so it can perform the visit you asked for.

Message frequency: a few messages per appointment request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us; reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Who we share information with

We share your request details with the local window company that accepts your appointment, and with the service providers that run our systems (for example, our texting and payment providers), only as needed to operate this service. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep request, consent, communication, and appointment records for as long as needed to operate the service, honor opt-outs, and meet legal and accounting requirements. Consent records are kept so we can demonstrate that you agreed to be contacted.

Your choices

You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where the law allows, by contacting us through detroitwindowquotes.com.
